Using these biomarkers, a drug names Herceptin was developed so as to counter the effects of metastatic breast cancer and to cure them ultimately. Hence, by studying the variations of biomarkers scientists has already devised a cure for some very complex diseases and are working day and night to devise a cure for diseases for whom a solution has not been devised yet.
